Done to experiment with fur, but ended up evolving into hair/fur studies. it is four colors only, and the pallette is on the picture.
1, 2, 4 and 6 were all done 100% with the brush tool on SAI.
Brush settings were
Size 20, Min Size 0
100% Density (Opacity) (normally 90-95%)
Blending 13 (normally 20)
Dilution 15 (normally 20)
Persistence 31 (normally 80)
In Advanced settings, make sure only 'size' is checked'
3, 5 and 13 were all done with a water(color) brush.
Brush Settings were
Size varying, Min Size 0
Persistence, Blending 0
In advanced Settings, Hard-Soft is 30 and only 'size' is checked.
11, 14 and 15 were done with the Marker tool with varying settings (I can't give you them)
I think 8 and 12 were done with the brush tool. I don't remember (I did them two days ago)
7, 9 and 10 were done with one of my favorite methods.
I put down the darkest color in a large watercolor brush (I used 30 on this) then go over it with smaller brush sizes in the watercolor where the lights would go. Then I use a size 20 (and smaller) brush (tool) and put individual strands from darkest to light, and I go over it until I am satisfied. C:
So yeah. There you go.
